Joseph City Couple Photos- Me and My Husband

You would think being a photographer I would have plenty of photos with my husband, but we don't. This is actually the first time we have ever done a photo shoot together. It was really difficult setting up the tripod and posing ourselves blindly. I think next time I might just hire a photographer and save some time and frustration. It was fun though and we got some good photos.

ASU Graduation Photos- Jodi

Jodi and her family are such nice people and I was really happy to be able to do Jodi's graduation photos. She is awesome, she just graduated from ASU and is headed off to law school. We took photos by her home in Mesa and also on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe.

Joseph City Wedding Photography- Tysseling Reception

I did wedding photos for JT and Leslie back in January in Utah. They had their wedding reception in Joseph City, AZ at the beginning of May. They wanted to wait for the weather to be nice because it was so cold for the wedding. Unfortunately, it snowed and rained, and there was horrible wind all day. They were just meant to be cold for them. I was always taught that if it rains on your wedding day it is good luck. Even though the weather was not perfect, it was a gorgeous reception, and the bride and groom were so happy. They were still laughing and having fun all night, it was a lot of fun. I can't forget to mention Rosco, their bulldog, he was so good and cute in his top hat.

I was Jesse and Kim's wedding photographer in Mesa, but they had their reception in Joseph City, AZ. It was a perfect day, just like their wedding day. They did an amazing job decorating and everyone had a blast.

Queen Creek Maternity Photography - Amy & Heath

My curse is finally broken! I have scheduled numerous maternity shoots and my clients always end up having the baby before the shoot date. So the lesson is schedule a maternity shoot earlier than 2 weeks before the baby is due. Amy is 6 months, and she and Heath are excited to be parents. I wish them so much happiness!

Mesa AZ Engagement Photography- Power Ranch- Chris and Jacque

Chris and Jacque were my dream engagement session. No need to tell them to smile, or laugh, or really even pose most of the time. They are just obviously in love and so happy, so all I needed to do was follow them around with my camera. I love my job. I can't wait for their wedding in June it is going to be gorgeous!

I will be offering a workshop on Saturday June 5th on camera basics and photo editing. We will be taking photos of children and I will teach tips and tricks on how to make them look professional. All you will need to bring is a digital camera- does not need to be professional- and a laptop if you have one.

Lavender and Old Lace, Mesa Az Wedding Photography- Jesse and Kim

This wedding was the definition of perfection. It was a beautiful day and everything went so smoothly. There was no drama, the ceremony was quick, and everyone was happy. This couple was also really willing to take a lot of pictures, which was great because this location, Lavender and Old Lace, is amazing! I could have spent all day there photographing them. It is not huge, but the perfect size, with lots of gorgeous photo opportunities all over. I also shot their engagement photos, so shooting the wedding was an honor. I wish all the best to Kim and Jesse because they are great people and so happy together.

Tysseling Wedding Photos

I shot this wedding in Provo, UT, and it was my first trip to Utah. The mountains and towns there are all so amazing. I wish I could have spent a month there taking pictures and exploring the state, but I only had the weekend. This couple is amazing and really good sports to be out in the cold taking pictures for a couple hours. I wish them all the happiness in the world.

This family was so much fun, they were excited to take pictures and helped me out a lot by making the kids happy. I love when I get to work with a family who is also creative and has ideas for their own pictures. It is just nice because then I know they are getting what they want.

I have been sick for like a week now, so I am finally finding time to post these pictures. This family was amazing to work with. There were way to many other photographers around doing jobs and they were really patient while we had to wait our turn for the nice spots. The session went over an hour and the kids were really willing and patient as well. They are such a cute family and I am really lucky to have been the one to get to take their pictures.

This couple was adorable and have a really lovely story. Jim met his wife Patricia in the Philippines in 1955, and introduced Jim to her best friend Del. The three of them continued a strong friendship for many years. In 2003, Patricia died of cancer and Jim had always been faithful to her. She had told him that if she were to pass she wanted him to be with Del. Jim didn't really take that seriously, but in 2004 when Del sent him a Valentine, their friendship was rekindled they found that they cared for each other much more. Now in 2009 they are married and very happy. Del is also fighting cancer and in remission right now. Jim is one of the most poetic people I have ever met and so very kind. I hope they will have a happy life together.
